Janice Beetle is a long-time writer and editor who runs Beetle Press, a PR and communications firm based in Easthampton, Massachusetts.
Janice earned her bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from Westfield State College in 1985. Early on in her career, she worked as a reporter for the then-Morning Union in Springfield, Mass., and was a reporter and, later, assistant Living editor at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Northampton, Mass.
Because she wanted to spend more time with her two daughters, who were young at the time, Janice left journalism and started Beetle Press in 1998. She specializes in helping clients gain visibility through the media. Her writing builds loyalty, inspires motivation and shapes community.
Creatively, Janice has participated in and led writing workshops for over 20 years. She has published in newspapers, magazines—including Nick Jr. magazine—and in literary journals.
Janice lives in Easthampton, Massachusetts and has two grown daughters and a grandson. She loves to run, hike, kayak and boat on the Connecticut River.
Divine Renovations is her first book. She is now developing a work of fiction as well as a second memoir, which you can learn more about here.
